I have been working with IT for more than 15 years; during this time, I have had a chance to deal with different environments. Ensuring high availability and meeting critical mission requirements. I have a solid knowledge of the cloud environment, automation, Linux, and Kubernetes. Delivering "infrastructure as code" and building self-service pipelines to empower the teams.
In my career, I have worked within and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using a full stack of development tools and technologies. In my current job, one of the main activities is to spread the DevOps culture inside each squad/team and show them all the values we can achieve. Mentoring and helping new engineers so they can perform at their best.
I’ve worked across multiple industries, including startups, telecom, banking, and payment services. My journey in Linux engineering began in the ’90s, studying and playing with distributions like Conectiva, Slackware, Debian, and Red Hat.
Throughout my career, I’ve primarily worked as a Linux engineer, collaborating closely with both Dev and Ops teams, especially within Java Enterprise and SOA architecture environments. My core expertise spans middleware technologies, including application servers, databases, message brokers, and enterprise service buses. I’ve also managed big data environments with Hive, Hadoop and handled container workloads with OpenShift and Kubernetes, all rooted in Linux.
Today, I remain passionate about Linux engineering, became Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) with a strong focus on cloud computing, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, and automation with Ansible. I am putting my energy at the moment in intelligent software release processes and exploring DevOps and SRE practices, supported by effective team topologies.
