Klaus Baumgartner is R&D Manager for Corporate Security Software Solutions at Siemens AG, Building Technologies. For more than 25 years Klaus has been working in different roles in software development for physical access control systems and video surveillance systems. He and his teams have been using lean and agile methodologies for more than 12 years and are now in the transition of bringing their products and solutions in the cloud using microservices and DevOps. Prior to joining Siemens he worked for several years in research on machine vision and artificial neural networks for industrial solutions.
